Overview

  • You will learn how to find a useful learning resource in the NSDL using the Instructional Architect.
  • You will learn how to create a simple homework activity using this resource.

In this problem, you will create a homework activity using the Instructional Architect by duplicating an example. The homework activity you create needs to have one online resource found in the NSDL using the Instructional Architect. Please follow the Steps below and after you complete this problem do a self-assessment reviewing the Checklist.

Steps

  1. Look at a sample homework project created for students using the Instructional Architect (click on IA Project Structures to learn more about this example).
  2. Create an account if you are a new user of the Instructional Architect (click on How to Create an Account to learn more).
  3. Find one relevant learning resource in the NSDL using the Instructional Architect (click on open movie to see a demonstration).
  4. Create a homework activity relevant to your teaching area using this resource (click on open movie to see a demonstration).

Note: Also remember to access the help files within the Instructional Architect when you have problems.
