COMPUTER ASSISTED LITERACY FOR NON ENGLISH SPEAKERS

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I stop stopped will stop
tú - you stop stopped will stop
él/ella/ello - he/she/it stops stopped will stop
nosotros - we stop stopped will stop
ustedes - you stop stopped will stop
ellos/ellas - they stop stopped will stop

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You stopped what you are doing. Paraste lo que estás haciendo.
b. Niega You did not stop what you are doing. No paraste lo que estás haciendo.
c. Pregunta Did you stop what you are doing? ¿Paraste lo que estás haciendo?
d. Afirma He stopped his car at the intersection. El paró su carro en el cruce.
e. Niega He did not stop his car at the intersection. El no paró su carro en el cruce.
f. Pregunta Did he stop his car at the intersection? ¿Paró él su carro en el cruce?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... stopped
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not stop
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... stop?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) when the train is coming. El paró cuando viene el tren.
(afirma) to watch the children play. Paré para observar a los niños jugar.
(afirma) running when they are tired. Ellos pararon de correr cuando están cansados.
(afirma) him at the gate. Ustedes lo detuvieron a la puerta.
(afirma) Juan his girl friend from eating too much. Juan detuvo a su novia de comer demasiado.
(niega) Maria and I talking. María y yo no paramos de hablar.
(niega) studying the English lessons. No paramos de estudiar las lecciones de inglés.
(niega) learning new things. El no paró de aprender cosas nuevas.
(pregunta) studying English? ¿Paraste tu de estudiar el inglés?
(pregunta) when the light is yellow? ¿Pararon ellos cuando el semáforo es amarillo?
(pregunta) Gabriela working on the weekends? ¿Paró Gabriela de trabajar los fines de semanas?

Did you stop to eat something on the way home? No, we did not stop to eat so we are hungry now.
¿Pararon para comer algo en el recorrido a casa? No, no paramos para comer así que tenemos hambre ahorita.
 
Good, I stopped at the store to buy some food for our dinner. We stopped to see Rafael on the way.
Bueno, paré a la tienda para comprar comida para nuestra cena. Paramos para ver a Rafael en el trayecto.
 
He stopped working at the factory at 5:00 o’clock so we could talk to him.
El paró de trabajar en al fabrica a las cinco así que pudimos hablar con él.
 
What time is it now? My watch stopped at 2:30. It is now 7:30 and can stop now and eat dinner.
¿A que hora es ahora mismo? mi reloj paró a las 2:30. Son las 7:30 y podemos parar ahora y cenar.
