ustedes - you sign signed will sign
ellos/ellas - they sign signed will sign

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You signed the check. Firmaste el cheque.
b. Niega You did not sign the check. No firmaste el cheque.
c. Pregunta Did you sign the check? ¿Firmaste el cheque?
d. Afirma He signed the contract to buy the car. El firmó el contrato para comprar el carro.
e. Niega He did not sign the contract to buy the car. El no firmó el contrato para comprar el carro.
f. Pregunta Did he sign the contract to buy the car? ¿Firmó él el contrato para comprar el carro?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... signed
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not sign
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... sign?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) his name on the form. El firmó su nombre en el formulario.
(afirma) the check to buy groceries. Firmé el cheque para comprar abarrotes.
(afirma) the register in the hotel. Ellos firmaron el registro en el hotel.
(afirma) the receipt to get the package. Ustedes firmaron el recibo para coger el paquete.
(afirma) Juan the credit card slip. Juan firmó la hoja de tarjeta de crédito.
(niega) Maria and I our names. María y yo no firmamos nuestros nombres.
(niega) for the package. No firmamos para el paquete.
(niega) the contract. El no firmó el contrato.
(pregunta) the receipt for the shipment? ¿Firmó él el recibo para el envío?
(pregunta) the agreement to buy the car? ¿Firmaron ellos el acuerdo para comprar el carro?
(pregunta) Gabriela her check? ¿Firmó Gabriela su cheque?

Did they sign the contract to buy the house? No, not yet; they signed the letter of promise but not the actual contract.
¿Firmaron ellos el contrato para comprar la casa? No, no todavía; firmaron la carta de compromiso pero no firmaron el contrato real.
 
We signed our documents in the attorney’s office; where did they sign theirs? They signed the documents in the house that they bought.
Firmamos nuestros documentos en la oficina del abogado; ¿donde firmaron los suyos? Firmaron los documentos en la casa que compraron.
 
Did both husband and wife sign the documents?
¿Firmaron los dos marido y mujer los documentos?
 
Yes, both of them signed the documents.
Sí, firmaron los dos los documentos.
