yo - I rest rested will rest
tú - you rest rested will rest
él/ella/ello - he/she/it rests rested will rest
nosotros - we rest rested will rest
ustedes - you rest rested will rest
ellos/ellas - they rest rested will rest

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You rested after studying English. Descansaste después de estudiar inglés.
b. Niega You did not rest after studying English. No descansaste después de estudiar inglés.
c. Pregunta Did you rest after studying English? ¿Descansaste después de estudiar inglés?
d. Afirma She rested after running. Ella descansó después de correr.
e. Niega She did not rest after running. Ella no descansó después de correr.
f. Pregunta Did she rest after running? ¿Descansó ella después de correr?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... rested
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not rest
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... rest?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) every afternoon after lunch. El descansaba todas las tardes después del almuerzo.
(afirma) when I feel tired. Descanso cuando me siento cansado.
(afirma) before every soccer game. Ellos descansaban antes de cada partido de futbol.
(afirma) often when climbing a mountain. Ustedes descansaban a menudo cuando subir la montaña.
(afirma) Juan before visiting his girl friend. Juan descansaba antes de visitar a su novia.
(niega) Maria and I after the class. María y yo no descansamos después de la clase.
(niega) during the day. No descansábamos durante el día.
(niega) after doing his homework. El no descansaba después de hacer su tarea.
(pregunta) during the night? ¿Descansaba él durante la noche?
(pregunta) after dancing? ¿Descansaron ellas después de bailar?
(pregunta) Gabriela when she should be working? ¿Descansaba Gabriela cuando debe estar trabajando?

Did you rest before the dance at the high school? No, I did not rest before the dance but I should have because I was tired.
¿Descanaste antes del baile en el colegio? No, no descansé antes del baile pero debía yo porque estuve cansada.
 
Did they rest after each dance? No, they did not rest at all.
¿Descansaron después de cada baile? No, no descansaron de toda manera.
 
We rested after the dance for a few minutes but then we went to a party at Julia’s house.
Descansamos después dek baile por un ratito pero luego fuimos a una fiesta a la casa de Julia.
 
Did you rest the next day? Yes, we rested the entire day after the dance.
¿Descansaron ustedes el día siguiente? Si, descansamos todo el día siguiente el baile.
