COMPUTER ASSISTED LITERACY FOR NON ENGLISH SPEAKERS

(1) TEMA DEL DIA: Edificios/lugares

(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to have = tener (tiempo pasado )    Listen to the verb conjugation ( WMA )

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I have had will have
tú - you have had will have
él/ella/ello - he/she/it has had will have
nosotros - we have had will have
ustedes - you have had will have
ellos/ellas - they have had will have

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:     Listen to the examples ( WMA )

a. Afirma You had the book. Tuviste el libro.
b. Niega You did not have the book. No tuviste el libro.
c. Pregunta Did you have the book? ¿Tuviste el libro?
d. Afirma She had the book. Ella tuvo el libro.
e. Niega She did not have the book. Ella no tuvo el libro.
f. Pregunta Did she have the book? ¿Tuvo ella el libro?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... had something
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not have anything
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... have something?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:    Listen to the answers ( WMA )

(afirma) the opportunity. El hizo su trabajo.
(afirma) the opportunity. Yo hice mi trabajo.
(afirma) the opportunity. Ellos hicieron su trabajo.
(afirma) the opportunity. Ustedes hicieron su trabajo.
(afirma) Juan the opportunity. Juan hizo su trabajo.
(niega) Maria and I the opportunity. María y yo no hicimos nuestro trabajo.
(niega) the opportunity. No hicimos nuestro trabajo.
(niega) the opportunity. El no hizo su trabajo.
(pregunta) the opportunity? ¿Hizo él su trabajo?
(pregunta) the opportunity? ¿Hicieron ellos su trabajo?
(pregunta) Gabriela the opportunity? ¿Hizo Gabriela su trabajo?

 

(5)     Listen to the sentences ( WMA )

The boy had to run to his mother because he had something to tell her. His mother did not have time to listen to the boy.
El niño tuvo que correr a su madre porque tuvo algo decir a ella. Su madre no tuvo tiempo escuchar al niño.
 
She had to cook dinner and she had only one hour to do it.
Tuvo que cocinar la cena y solo tuvo una hora para hacer lo.
 
They had to eat early because the children had homework to do.
Tuvieron que comer temprano porque los niños tuvieron tarea que hacer.
 
Did you have your English class today? No, I did not have it today. I had it yesterday.
¿Tuviste to clase de inglés hoy? No, no la tuve hoy. La tuve ayer.
