COMPUTER ASSISTED LITERACY FOR NON ENGLISH SPEAKERS

(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to walk = caminar / andar / pasearse (tiempo presente)

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I walk walked will walk
tú - you walk walked will walk
él/ella/ello - he/she/it walks walked will walk
nosotros - we walk walked will walk
ustedes - you walk walked will walk
ellos/ellas - they walk walked will walk

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You walk to the store. Caminas a la tienda.
b. Niega You do not walk to the store. No caminas a la tienda.
c. Pregunta Do you walk to the store? ¿Caminas a la tienda?
d. Afirma He walks fast everywhere he goes. El anda rápido dondequiera que vaya.
e. Niega He does not walk fast everywhere he goes. El no anda rápido dondequiera que vaya.
f. Pregunta Does he walk fast everywhere he goes? ¿Anda él rápido dondequiera que vaya?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I walk, you walk, he walks, she walks, it walks, we walk, they walk
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not walk
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... walk?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) to school on Mondays. El camina a la escuela los lunes.
(afirma) in the mountains for fun. Yo ando en la montañas para divertido.
(afirma) on the left side of the street for safety. Ellos caminan en el lado izquierdo de la calle para seguridad.
(afirma) to get exercise. Ustedes se pasean para hacer ejercicio.
(afirma) Juan in the park with his girl friend. Juan camina en el parque con su novia.
(niega) Maria and I to church. María y yo no caminamos a la iglesia.
(niega) unless we have to. No caminamos a menos que no haya más remedio.
(niega) to his work. El no anda a su trabajo.
(pregunta) very far to get to school? ¿Camina él muy lejos para llegar a la escuela?
(pregunta) home after the classes at night? ¿Andan ellos a casa después de las clases de la noche?
(pregunta) Gabriela to the grocery store? ¿Camina Gabriela a la tienda de abarrotes?

Do you walk for pleasure? Yes, of course, I walk because I like to.
¿Te paseas para el placer? Sí, por supuesto, me paseo porque me gusta.
 
Does Martha walk with you in the mountains? No, she does not walk in the mountains but she walks alot around town.
¿Se pasea Martha contigo en las montañas? No, no camina ella en las montañas sino camina ella mucho por la ciudad.
 
We walk together in the evenings to relax. Do your children walk with you? No, what a pity, they don’t walk enough.
Nos paseamos juntos en las tardes para relajar nos. ¿Caminan sus niños con ustedes? No, que lástima, no caminan suficiente.
 
Do they walk home from school? No, they don’t even walk that far.
¿Caminan a casa de la escuela? No, ni siquiera caminan esa distancia.
