ustedes - you lend lent will lend
ellos/ellas - they lend lent will lend

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You lend money to your friend. Prestas dinero a tu amigo.
b. Niega You do not lend money to your friend. No prestas dinero a tu amigo.
c. Pregunta Do you lend money to your friend? ¿Prestas dinero a tu amigo?
d. Afirma He lends his tools to his neighbor. El presta sus herramientas a su vecino.
e. Niega He does not lend his tools to his neighbor. El no presta sus herramientas a su vecino.
f. Pregunta Does he lend his tools to his neighbor? ¿Presta él sus herramientas a su vecino?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I lend , you lend , he lends , she lends , it lends , we lend , they lend
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not lend
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... lend?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) his coat to his brother. El presta su abrigo a su hermano.
(afirma) my book to my friends. Yo presto mi libro a mis amigos.
(afirma) their money with interest. Los bancos prestan su dinero con interés.
(afirma) your clothes to your sisters. Ustedes prestan su ropa a sus hermanas.
(afirma) Juan his pen to the other students. Juan presta su bolígrafo a los otros alumnos.
(niega) Maria and I our money. María y yo no prestamos nuestro dinero.
(niega) our car to anyone. No prestamos nuestro carro a nadie.
(niega) his coat when it is raining. El no presta su abrigo cuando está lloviendo.
(pregunta) money to you? ¿Presta él dinero a ti?
(pregunta) their things to strangers? ¿Prestan sus cosas a desconocidos?
(pregunta) Gabriela her clothes to her sister? ¿Presta Gabriela su ropa a su hermana?

Does he lend his money to you when you need it? Yes, he lends it to me when I really need it.
¿Te presta él su dinero a ti cuando lo necesite? Sí, me presta él cuando yo lo necesite realmente.
 
Do you lend him money sometimes? Well, yes, I lend him money when I have it and he needs it.
¿Le prestas a él dinero algunas veces? Bueno, sí, le presto a él dinero cuando yo lo tenga y él lo necesite.
 
Do the banks lend money? Yes, of course, the banks lend money but they charge interest.
¿Prestan dinero los bancos? Sí, por supuesto, los bancos prestan dinero pero cobran interés.
 
They say that banks lend money only when you don’t need it.
Se dicen que los bancos prestan dinero solo cuando no lo necesite.
