COMPUTER ASSISTED LITERACY FOR NON ENGLISH SPEAKERS

(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to speak = hablar (tiempo pasado )

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I speak spoke will speak
tú - you speak spoke will speak
él/ella/ello - he/she/it speaks spoke will speak
nosotros - we speak spoke will speak
ustedes - you speak spoke will speak
ellos/ellas - they speak spoke will speak

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You spoke to your friend. Hablaste a tu amigo.
b. Niega You did not speak to your friend. No hablaste a tu amigo.
c. Pregunta Did you speak to your friend? ¿Hablaste a tu amigo?
d. Afirma He spoke English very well. El habló inglés muy bien.
e. Niega He did not speak English very well. El no habló inglés mu bien.
f. Pregunta Did he speak English very well? ¿Habló él inglés muy bien?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... spoke
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not speak
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... speak?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) both English and Spanish. El habló ambos inglés y español.
(afirma) with her whenever I can. Yo hablé con ella cuando puedo.
(afirma) about their grand children often. Ellos hablaron de sus nietos a menudo.
(afirma) to the teacher every class. Ustedes hablaron al profesor cada clase.
(afirma) Juan to his girl friend by telephone. Juan habló a su novia por teléfono.
(niega) Maria and I loudly. María y yo no hablamos fuerte.
(niega) to the children. No hablamos a los niños.
(niega) English. El no habló inglés.
(pregunta) to the students? ¿Les habló él a los estudiantes?
(pregunta) often with their friends in Mexico? ¿Hablaron ellos a menudo con sus amigos en México?
(pregunta) Gabriela to her sister? ¿Le habló Gabriela a su hermana?

Did you speak to the other students? Yes, I spoke to them before the class.
¿Hablaste a los otros estudiantes? Sí, les hablé antes de la clase.
 
Did the teacher speak clearly when he taught the class? Yes, he spoke very clearly. We understood him when he spoke .
¿Habló el profesor claramente cuando él enseñó la clase? Sí, él habló muy claramente. Lo pudimos entender cuando habló.
 
Did the other students speak to you?
¿Te hablaron a ti los otros estudiantes?
 
No, they didn’t speak to me unless I spoke to them.
No, no me hablaron a menos que les hablara yo a ellos.
