(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to do = hacer (tiempo pasado )    Listen to the verb conjugation ( WMA )

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I do did will do
tú - you do did will do
él/ella/ello - he/she/it does did will do
nosotros - we do did will do
ustedes - you do did will do
ellos/ellas - they do did will do

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:     Listen to the examples ( WMA )

a. Afirma You did the assignment. Hiciste la tarea.
b. Niega You did not do the assignment. No hiciste la tarea.
c. Pregunta Did you do the assignment? ¿Hiciste la tarea?
d. Afirma He did the assignment. El hizo la tarea.
e. Niega He did not do the assignment. El no hizo la tarea.
f. Pregunta Did he do the assignment? ¿Hizo él la tarea?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... did something
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... do something
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... do something?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:    Listen to the answers ( WMA )

(afirma) his work. El hizo su trabajo.
(afirma) my work. Yo hice mi trabajo.
(afirma) thier work. Ellos hicieron su trabajo.
(afirma) your work. Ustedes hicieron su trabajo.
(afirma) Juan his work. Juan hizo su trabajo.
(niega) Maria and I our work. María y yo no hicimos nuestro trabajo.
(niega) our work. No hicimos nuestro trabajo.
(niega) his work. El no hizo su trabajo.
(pregunta) his work? ¿Hizo él su trabajo?
(pregunta) their work? ¿Hicieron ellos su trabajo?
(pregunta) Gabriela her work? ¿Hizo Gabriela su trabajo?

 

(5)     Listen to the sentences ( WMA )

Did Mary do her assignment yesterday? Yes, Mary did her assignment very well.
¿Hizo Mary su tarea ayer? Sí, Mary hizo su tarea muy bien.
 
How about George, did he do his assignment too? No, he did not do his assignment yesterday but he did do today’s work.
Y George, ¿hizo su tarea también? No, no hizo su tarea ayer pero sí hizo el trabajo de hoy.
 
It is good to do the assignment.
Es bueno hacer la tarea.
 
Did you do what I asked you to do? Yes, I did it.
¿Hiciste lo que te pedí hacer? Si, lo hice.
