yo - I say / tell said / told will say / tell
tú - you say / tell said / told will say / tell
él/ella/ello - he/she/it says / tells said / told will say / tell
nosotros - we say / tell said / told will say / tell
ustedes - you say / tell said / told will say / tell
ellos/ellas - they say / tell said / told will say / tell

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You say hello to your friend. Dices hola a tu amigo.
b. Niega You do not say hello to your friend. No dices hola a tu amigo.
c. Pregunta Do you say hello to your friend? ¿Dices hola a tu amigo?
d. Afirma He tells his friends the truth. El dice a tus amigos la verdad.
e. Niega He does not tell his friends the truth. El no dice a tus amigos una mentira.
f. Pregunta Does he tell his friends the truth? ¿Dice a tus amigos la verdad?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I say, you say, he says, she says, it says, we say, they say
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not tell / say
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... tell / say?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) Juan the story. El le cuenta a Juan la historia.
(afirma) her the directions to my house. Yo le digo a ella las direcciones a mi casa.
(afirma) me where they live. Ellos me dicen donde viven ellos.
(afirma) him the answers. Ustedes le dicen a él las respuestas.
(afirma) Juan Alma to go to the store. Juan dice a alma que vaya ella a la tienda.
(niega) Maria and I the story. María y yo no contamos la historia.
(niega) the teacher anything. No decimos al profesor nada.
(niega) anything. El no dice nada.
(pregunta) anything to you? ¿Te dice él algo a ti?
(pregunta) the truth always? ¿Dicen ellos la verdad siempre?
(pregunta) Gabriela you about the class? ¿Te dice Gabriela sobre la clase?

Do you tell the teacher the answers? Yes, I always tell him the answers.
¿Dices al profesor las respuestas? Sí, yo siempre le digo las respuestas.
 
Do you say the words correctly? Sometimes I say them correctly and sometimes I don’t say them right.
¿Dices las palabras correctamente? A veces las digo correctamente y a veces no las digo correctamente.
 
Do your children tell you where they are going? Yes, they always tell me where they are going and when they will return.
¿Te dicen sus niños a donde van? Sí, siempre me dicen a donde van y cuando regresarán.
 
Does the teacher tell you what to do? Yes, he tells us what to do by email. What does he say?
¿Les dice el profesor a ustedes lo que hacer? Sí, nos dice que hacer por email. ¿Que dice?
