yo - I ask asked will ask
tú - you ask asked will ask
él/ella/ello - he/she/it asks asked will ask
nosotros - we ask asked will ask
ustedes - you ask asked will ask
ellos/ellas - they ask asked will ask

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You asked where he lives. Preguntaste donde vive él.
b. Niega You did not ask where he lives. No preguntaste donde vive él.
c. Pregunta Did you ask where he lives? ¿Preguntaste donde vive él?
d. Afirma He asked for money. El pidió dinero.
e. Niega He did not ask for money. El no pidió dinero.
f. Pregunta Did he ask for money? ¿Pidió él dinero?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... asked
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not ask
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... ask?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) how much it costs. El preguntó cuanto cuesta.
(afirma) where the class is. Yo pregunté donde está la clase.
(afirma) for some vegetables. Ellos pidieron unas verduras.
(afirma) permission. Ustedes pidieron permiso.
(afirma) Juan for help. Juan pidió ayuda.
(niega) Maria and I a question. María y yo no hicimos una pregunta.
(niega) for the bill. No pedimos la cuenta.
(niega) where she lives. El no preguntó donde vive ella.
(pregunta) for help? ¿Pidió él ayuda?
(pregunta) where you live? ¿Preguntaron ellos donde vives?
(pregunta) Gabriela for a book? ¿Pidió Gabriela un libro?

Did you ask for a pencil? Yes, I asked for a pencil but he gave me a pen. He asked me why I wanted a pencil.
¿Pediste un lápiz? Sí, pedí un lápiz pero me dio una pluma. Me preguntó por qué quise un lápiz.
 
The students asked where the class is.
Los estudiantes preguntaron donde estaba la clase.
 
The teacher asked some difficult questions. We asked the teacher for help.
El profesor hizo unas preguntas difíciles. Lo pedimos al profesor ayuda.
 
Fernando asked how long the class is. Anita asked where the class is on Wednesday.
Preguntó Fernando que tan largo era la clase. Anita preguntó donde está la clase del miércoles.
