yo - I finish finished will finish
tú - you finish finished will finish
él/ella/ello - he/she/it finishes finished will finish
nosotros - we finish finished will finish
ustedes - you finish finished will finish
ellos/ellas - they finish finished will finish

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You finished the lesson. Terminaste la lección.
b. Niega You did not finish the lesson. No terminaste la lección.
c. Pregunta Did you finish the lesson? ¿Terminaste la lección?
d. Afirma He finished the lesson. El terminó la lección.
e. Niega He did not finish the lesson. El no terminó la lección.
f. Pregunta Did he finish the lesson? ¿Terminó él la lección?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, they ... finished
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not finish
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... finish?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) his work. El terminó su trabajo.
(afirma) my work. Yo terminé mi trabajo.
(afirma) their work. Ellos terminaron su trabajo.
(afirma) your work. Ustedes terminaron su trabajo.
(afirma) Juan his work. Juan terminó su trabajo.
(niega) Maria and I our work. María y yo no terminamos nuestro trabajo.
(niega) my work. No terminamos nuestro trabajo.
(niega) his work. El no terminó su trabajo.
(pregunta) his work? ¿Terminó él su trabajo?
(pregunta) their work? ¿Terminaron ellos su trabajo?
(pregunta) Gabriela her work? ¿Terminó Gabriela su trabajo?

Did Kathrine finish her story? No, she did not finish it. She finished telling about her vacation but she did not finish telling us about her accident.
¿Terminó Kathrine su historia? No, no la terminó. Ella terminó diciendo de tus vacaciones pero no terminó diciendonos sobre su accidente.
 
Did you finish reading the book? Yes, I finished it yesterday.
Terminaste leyendo el libro? Sí, lo terminé ayer.
 
Robert finished his work before I finished mine.
Robert terminó su trabajo antes de que terminara yo lo mío.
 
Did they finish repairing your car? No, they did not finish yet but they finished the most difficult part of the job.
¿Terminaron reparando tu carro? No, no terminaron todavía pero sí terminaron la parte del trabajo más difícil.
