nosotros - we try tried will try
ustedes - you try tried will try
ellos/ellas - they try tried will try

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You try to do your best. Tratas de hacer lo mejor posible.
b. Niega You do not try to do your best. No tratas de hacer lo mejor posible.
c. Pregunta Do you try to do your best? ¿Tratas de hacer lo mejor posible?
d. Afirma She tries to speak English all the time. Ella trata de hablar inglés todo el tiempo.
e. Niega She does not try to speak English all the time. Ella no trata de hablar inglés todo el tiempo.
f. Pregunta Does she try to speak English all the time? ¿Trata ella de hablar inglés todo el tiempo?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I try, you try, he tries, she tries, it tries, we try, they try
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not try
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... try?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) to study English every day. El trata de estudiar inglés todos los días.
(afirma) to go to class every day. Yo trato de ir a la clase todos los días.
(afirma) to remember to do their homework. Ellos tratan de recordar que hacer su tarea.
(afirma) to write the correct word. Ustedes tratan de escribir la palabra correcta.
(afirma) Juan to speak English with his girl friend. Juan trata de hablar inglés con su novia.
(niega) Maria and I to save our money. María y yo no tratamos de ahorrar nuestro dinero.
(niega) to eat the right food. No tratamos de comer la comida correcta.
(niega) to bring his homework. El no trata de traer su tarea.
(pregunta) to do his best? ¿El no trata de traer su tarea?
(pregunta) to speak English with their parents? ¿Tratan ellas de hablar inglés con sus padres?
(pregunta) Gabriela to read the English book? ¿Trata Gabriela de leer el libro de inglés?

Do they try to come to class every day? Yes, they try to do it but sometimes they can’t.
¿Tratan de venir a la clase todos los días? Sí, tratan de hacer lo pero a veces no pueden.
 
Do you try to study the lessons at home? Yes, I try to study at home but there are many things to do around the house.
¿Tratas de estudiar las lecciones en casa? Sí, trato de estudiar en casa pero hay muchas cosas que hacer alrededor la casa.
 
Do we try hard enough to learn the other people’s language and culture? No, we don’t try hard enough to learn those things.
¿Tratamos suficiente de aprender el idioma y cultura de la otras personas? No, no tratamos suficiente de aprender esas cosas.
 
We should try to work harder to learn more things about our neighbor’s culture.
Debemos tratar de trabajar con más esfuerzo para aprender más cosas de la cultura de nuestros vecinos.
