COMPUTER ASSISTED LITERACY FOR NON ENGLISH SPEAKERS

(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to attend = asistir (tiempo presente)

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I attend attended will attend
tú - you attend attended will attend
él/ella/ello - he/she/it attends attended will attend
nosotros - we attend attended will attend
ustedes - you attend attended will attend
ellos/ellas - they attend attended will attend

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You attend the meeting. Asistes la reunión.
b. Niega You do not attend the meeting. No asistes la reunión.
c. Pregunta Do you attend the meeting? ¿Asistes la reunión?
d. Afirma He attends the meeting. El asiste la reunión.
e. Niega He does not attend the meeting. El no asiste la reunión.
f. Pregunta Does he attend the meeting? ¿Asiste él la reunión?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I attend, you attend, he attends, she attends, it attends, we attend, they attend
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not attend
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... attend?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) the English class. El asiste la clase de inglés.
(afirma) the English class. Yo asisto la clase de inglés.
(afirma) the English class. Ellos asisten la clase de inglés.
(afirma) the English class. Ustedes asisten la clase de inglés.
(afirma) Juan the English class. Juan asiste la clase de inglés.
(niega) Maria and I the English class. María y yo no asistimos la clase de inglés.
(niega) the English class. No asistimos la clase de inglés.
(niega) the English class. El no asiste la clase de inglés.
(pregunta) the English class? ¿Asiste él la clase de inglés?
(pregunta) the English class? ¿Asisten ellos la clase de inglés?
(pregunta) Gabriela the English class? ¿Asiste Gabriela la clase de inglés?

Does she attend church every Sunday? Yes, she attends church every Sunday.
¿Asiste ella la iglesia todos los domingos? Sí, ella asiste la iglesia todos los domingos.
 
Do you attend also? No, I do not attend every Sunday but I attend every once in a while.
¿Asistes también? No, no asisto todos los domingos pero sí asisto de vez en cuando.
 
Does John attend the classes? Yes, he attends whenever he can. He attends the class with his wife. They attend together.
¿Asiste John las clases? Sí, asiste cuando puede. Asiste la clase con su esposa. Asisten juntos.
 
Do you attend football games often? No, I do not attend them often but I would like to.
¿Asistes partidos de futbol a menudo? No, no los asisto a menudo pero me gustaría.
