yo - I follow followed will follow

él/ella/ello - he/she/it follows followed will follow
nosotros - we follow followed will follow
ustedes - you follow followed will follow
ellos/ellas - they follow followed will follow

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You follow Juan. Sigues a Juan.
b. Niega You do not follow Juan. No sigues a Juan.
c. Pregunta Do you follow Juan? ¿Sigues a Juan?
d. Afirma He follows it (the path). El lo sigue (el sendero).
e. Niega He does not follow it (the path). El no lo sigue (el sendero).
f. Pregunta Does he follow it (the path)? ¿Lo sigue él (el sendero)?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I follow, you follow, he follows, she follows, it follows, we follow, they follow
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not follow
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... follow?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) his girl friend. El sigue a su novia.
(afirma) my friend. Yo sigo a mi amigo.
(afirma) the teacher. Ellos siguen al profesor.
(afirma) the teacher. Ustedes siguen al profesor.
(afirma) Juan Gloria to the store. Juan sigue a Gloria a la tienda.
(niega) Maria and I the others. María y yo no seguimos a los otros.
(niega) the others. No seguimos a los demás.
(niega) his brother. El no sigue a su hermano.
(pregunta) the other boys? ¿Sigue él a los otros chicos?
(pregunta) the girls? ¿Siguen ellos a las chicas?
(pregunta) Gabriela her friends? ¿Sigue Gabriela a sus amigas?

Do I follow this road to the city? Yes, you follow it to the center of the city.
¿Sigo este camino a la ciudad? Sí, lo sigue usted al centro de la ciudad.
 
Does that truck follow the same road? No, it (the truck) does not follow the same road.
¿Sigue ese camión la misma carretera? No, no sigue (el camión) la misma carretera.
 
You follow the signs to the center. Then, I do not follow the truck but I follow the signs.
Sigue usted las señales al centro. Entonces, no sigo el camión sino sigo las señales.
 
Jorge follows his father’s intructions but he doesn’t like it. Carmen always follows a recipe when she makes a cake. It makes her a good cook.
Jorge sigue las instrucciones de su padre pero a él no le gusta. Carmen siempre sigue una receta cuando cocina un pastel. La hace una cocinera buena.
