(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to be able or can = poder / saber (tiempo futuro)   Listen to the verb conjugation (WMA)

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I can could will be able
tú - you can could will be able
él/ella/ello - he/she/it can could will be able
nosotros - we can could will be able
ustedes - you can could will be able
ellos/ellas - they can could will be able

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:   Listen to the examples (WMA)

a. Afirma You will be able to go. Tu podrás ir.
b. Niega You will not be able to not go. No podrás ir.
c. Pregunta Will you be able to go? ¿Podrás ir?
d. Afirma He will be able to go. El podrá ir.
e. Niega He will not be able to go. El no podrá ir.
f. Pregunta Will he be able to go? ¿podrá el ir?
Auxiliar para afirmar = I will, You will, He will, She will, It will, We will, They will ... be able
Auxiliar para negar = I will, You will, He will, She will, It will, We will, They will ... not be able
Auxiliar para preguntar = Will I, Will you, Will he, Will she, Will it, Will we, Will they ... be able

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:   Listen to the answers (WMA)

(afirma) to speak. El podrá hablar.
(afirma) to speak. Yo podré hablar.
(afirma) to speak. Ellos podrán hablar.
(afirma) to speak. Ustedes podrán hablar.
(afirma) Juan to speak. Juan podrá hablar.
(niega) Maria and I to speak. María y yo no podremos hablar.
(niega) to speak. No podremos hablar.
(niega) to speak. El no podrá hablar.
(pregunta) to speak? ¿Podrá él hablar?
(pregunta) to speak? ¿Podrán ellos hablar?
(pregunta) Gabriela to speak? ¿Podrá Gabriela hablar?

 

(5)   Listen to the sentences (WMA)

Will you be able to go to the party? No, today I can not go but tomorrow I will be able to go.
¿Podrás ir a la fiesta? No, hoy no puedo ir pero mañana sí podré hacer lo.
 
Will he be able to go? Yes, he will be able to go.
¿Podrá él ir? Sí, él podrá ir.
 
Will they be able to speak English? Yes, they will be able to speak it very well.
¿Podrán ellos hablar bien el inglés? Sí, podrán hablar lo muy bien.
 
Will we be able to use the computer to increase our vocabulary? Yes, certainly you will be able to use the computer for that purpose.
¿Podremos usar la computadora para aumentar nuestro vocabulario? Sí, claro podrán ustedes utilizar la computadora por ese proposito.
