COMPUTER ASSISTED LITERACY FOR NON ENGLISH SPEAKERS

(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to know = conocer/saber (tiempo futuro )

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I know knew will know
tú - you know knew will know
él/ella/ello - he/she/it knows knew will know
nosotros - we know knew will know
ustedes - you know knew will know
ellos/ellas - they know knew will know

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You will know the children. Conocerás a los niños.
b. Niega You will not know the children. No conocerás a los niños.
c. Pregunta Will you know the children? ¿Conocerás a los niños?
d. Afirma She will know where it (the book) is. Ella sabrá donde está (el libro).
e. Niega She will not know where it (the book) is. Ella no sabrá donde está (el libro).
f. Pregunta Will she know where it (the book) is? ¿Sabrá ella donde está (el libro)?
Auxiliar para afirmar = I will, You will, He will, She will, It will, We will, They will ... know
Auxiliar para negar = I will, You will, He will, She will, It will, We will, They will ... not know
Auxiliar para preguntar = Will I, Will you, Will he, Will she, Will it, Will we, Will they ... know?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) your family. El conocerá a tu familia.
(afirma) Maria’s home. Yo conoceré la casa de María.
(afirma) Dr. Anderson. Ellos conocerán al doctor Anderson.
(afirma) Mexico City. Ustedes conocerán la Ciudad de México.
(afirma) Juan the classroom. Juan conocerá el salón de clases.
(niega) Maria and I your friend. María y yo no conoceremos a tu amiga.
(niega) the English class. No sabremos la clase de inglés.
(niega) the English class. El no sabrá la clase de inglés.
(pregunta) the English class? ¿Sabrá él la clase de inglés?
(pregunta) the English class? ¿Ellos conocerán la clase de inglés?
(pregunta) Gabriela the English class? ¿Conocerá Gabriela la clase de inglés?

Will you know how to drive? Yes, I will know how to drive the car but she will never know how to drive well.
¿Sabrás cómo manejar? Sí, sabré manejar el carro pero ella nunca sabrá manejar bien.
 
When will he know about the new job? He will know tomorrow if he got the job.
¿Cuándo sabrá él del puesto nuevo? El sabrá mañana si tiene el puesto.
 
Will he know any of the other workers in the office? Yes, I believe he will know many of the other workers.
¿Conocerá él a algunos de los otros trabajadores en la oficina? Sí, creo que él conocerá a muchos de los otros trabajadores.
 
Will they know how to do the work? Yes, certainly they will know it.
¿Sabrán ellos hacer el trabajo? Sí, por supuesto, lo sabrán.
