(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to meet = encontrarse/conocerse/reunirse (tiempo pasado)

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I meet met will meet
tú - you meet met will meet
él/ella/ello - he/she/it meets met will meet
nosotros - we meet met will meet
ustedes - you meet met will meet
ellos/ellas - they meet met will meet

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You met with your friends. Encontraste con tus amigos.
b. Niega You did not meet with your friends. No encontraste con tus amigos.
c. Pregunta Did you do meet with your friends? ¿Encontraste con tus amigos?
d. Afirma He met with his friends. El encontró con sus amigos.
e. Niega He did not meet with his friends. El no encontró con sus amigos.
f. Pregunta Did he meet with his friends? ¿Encontró él con sus amigos?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I met, you met, he met, she met, it met, we met, they met
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not meet
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... meet?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) Marta in the park. El encontró a Marta en el parque.
(afirma) with Roberto at 4:00. Me encontré con Roberto a las 4:00.
(afirma) in the restaurante. Ellos se encontraron en el restaurante.
(afirma) every day. Ustedes se encontraron todos los días.
(afirma) Juan Gloria in school. Juan encontró a Gloria en la escuela.
(niega) Maria and I in the office. María y yo no nos encontramos en la oficina.
(niega) until next week. No nos encontramos hasta la semana proxima.
(niega) with Jorge today. El no se encontró con Jorge hoy.
(pregunta) Ana tonight? ¿Encontraste a Ana esta noche?
(pregunta) together today? ¿Ellos se encontraron juntos hoy?
(pregunta) Gabriela you now? ¿encontró Gabriela a ti ahora?

Did you meet with the teacher today? Yes, I met with her this afternoon.
¿Hizo Mary su tarea ayer? Sí, Mary hizo su tarea muy bien.
 
What did you say when you first met her? When I met her for the first time, I said, “how do you do Mrs. Gonzales” and “it is nice to meet you”.
Y George, ¿hizo su tarea también? No, no hizo su tarea ayer pero sí hizo el trabajo de hoy.
 
Did the committee meet last night? No, it did not meet last night but it did meet on Tuesday night.
Es bueno hacer la tarea.
 
When did the class meet? The class met on Tuesday and on Thursday.
¿Hiciste lo que te pedí hacer? Si, lo hice.
