(2) EL VERBO DEL DIA: to meet = encontrarse/conocerse/reunirse (tiempo presente )

Conjugación del verbo del día: Presente Pasado Futuro
yo - I meet met will meet
tú - you meet met will meet
él/ella/ello - he/she/it meets met will meet
nosotros - we meet met will meet
ustedes - you meet met will meet
ellos/ellas - they meet met will meet

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma

You meet with your friends. Encuentras con tus amigos.
b. Niega You do not meet with your friends. No encuentras con tus amigos.
c. Pregunta Do you do meet with your friends? ¿Encuentras con tus amigos?
d. Afirma He meets with his friends. El encuentra con sus amigos.
e. Niega He does not meet with his friends. El no encuentra con sus amigos.
f. Pregunta Does he meet with his friends? ¿Encuentra él con sus amigos?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I meet , you meet , he meets , she meets , it meets , we meet , they meet
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not meet
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... meet?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) Marta in the park. El encuentra a Marta en el parque.
(afirma) with Roberto at 4:00. Encuentro con Roberto a las 4:00.
(afirma) in the restaurante. Ellos se encuentran en el restaurante.
(afirma) every day. Ustedes se encuentran todos los días.
(afirma) Juan Gloria in school. Juan encuentra a Gloria en la escuela.
(niega) Maria and I in the office. María y yo no nos encontramos en la oficina.
(niega) until next week. No nos encontramos hasta la semana proxima.
(niega) with Jorge today. El no se encuentra con Jorge hoy.
(pregunta) Ana tonight? ¿Encuentras a Ana esta noche?
(pregunta) together today? ¿Ellos se encuentran juntos hoy?
(pregunta) Gabriela you now? ¿Encuentra Gabriela a ti ahora?

Do you meet with Jorge today? No, I don’t meet with him until tomorrow. When do you meet her? I meet her in one hour on the corner.
¿Te encuentras con Jorge hoy? No, no me encuentro con él hasta mañana. ¿Cúando te encuentras con ella? Me encuentro con ella en una hora en la esquina.
 
We meet to talk about the English class. Do you meet now? Yes, we meet now to study English.
Nos encontramos para hablar de la clase de inglés. ¿Se encuentran Uds. ahora? Sí, nos encontramos ahora para estudiar el inglés.
 
Where do they meet? They meet in the restaurant.
¿Dónde se encuentran ellos? Se encuentran en el restaurante.
 
When you meet with someone what do you say? When I meet someone I say “How are you” or “it is nice to see you” or “how are things going?
¿Cuando te encuentras con alguien, que dices? Cuando me encuentro con alguien digo “¿Como está? o “es bueno verte” o “¿Cómo andan las cosas?
