(1) Instructions

Using the verb to be able or can (poder) in the past tense
Usando el verbo to be able or can (poder) en el tiempo pasado

Please write five sentences in the affirmative.
Example: Juan could run fast when he was young. (Juan podía correr rápido cuando él era joven.)

(2) Please write five sentences in the negative.
Example: Juan could not run fast when he was young. (Juan no podía correr rápido cuando él era joven.)

C. Please write five sentences in the interrogative.
Example: Could Juan run fast when he was young? (¿Podía Juan correr rápido cuando él era joven?)

(4) TAREA EXTRA EXTRA: To do something more advanced, write five sentences in each category (affirmative, negative and interrogative) in the future of the verb to be able or can (poder).

Para hacer algo más adelantado escriba cinco oraciones en cada categoría (afirmando, negando y interrogando) en el tiempo futuro con el verbo to be able or can (poder).
