él/ella/ello - he/she/it gives gave will give
nosotros - we give gave will give
ustedes - you give gave will give
ellos/ellas - they give gave will give

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:     Listen to the examples ( WMA )

a. Afirma You gave her the money. Le diste a ella el dinero.
b. Niega You did not give her the money. No le diste a ella el dinero.
c. Pregunta Did you give her the money? ¿Le diste a ella el dinero?
d. Afirma She gave the homework to the teacher. Ella le dio la tarea al profesor.
e. Niega She did not give the homework to the teacher. Ella no le dio la tarea al profesor.
f. Pregunta Did she give the homework to the teacher? ¿Le dio ella la tarea al profesor?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... gave
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not give
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... give?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:    Listen to the answers ( WMA )

(afirma) it to her. El se lo dio a ella.
(afirma) it to her. Yo se lo di a ella.
(afirma) it to her. Ellos se lo dieron a ella.
(afirma) it to her. Ustedes se lo dieron a ella.
(afirma) Juan it to her. Juan se lo dio a ella.
(niega) Maria and I it to her. María y yo no se lo dimos a ella.
(niega) it to her. No se lo dimos a ella.
(niega) it to her. El no se lo dio a ella.
(pregunta) it to her? ¿Se lo diste a ella?
(pregunta) it to her? ¿Ellos se lo dieron a ella?
(pregunta) Gabriela it to her? ¿Se lo dio Gabriela a ella?

 

(5)     Listen to the sentences ( WMA )

Did you give him the book? Yes, I gave it to him. What did he give you? He gave me a new cd.
¿Le diste el libro a él? Sí, se lo di. ¿Qué te dio? Me dio un cd nuevo.
 
What cd did he give you? He gave me the new Gloria Estefan cd. Wow! He gave you a nice gift.
¿Qué cd te dio? Me dio el nuevo cd de Gloria Estefan. Wow! Te dio un buen regalo.
 
What book did you give him? I gave him a book on the history of Utah.
¿Qué libro le diste a él? Le di un libro de la historia de Utah.
 
Why did you give him that book? I gave it to him bacause he likes to read books that give him new information.
¿Por qué le diste ese libro? Se lo di porque a él le gusta leer libros que le dan información nueva.
