yo - I give gave will give

él/ella/ello - he/she/it gives gave will give
nosotros - we give gave will give
ustedes - you give gave will give
ellos/ellas - they give gave will give

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:     Listen to the examples ( WMA )

a. Afirma You give her the money. Le das a ella el dinero.
b. Niega You do not give her the money. No le das a ella el dinero.
c. Pregunta Do you give her the money? ¿Le das a ella el dinero?
d. Afirma She gives the homework to the teacher. Ella le da la tarea al profesor.
e. Niega She does not give the homework to the teacher. Ella no le da la tarea al profesor.
f. Pregunta Does she give the homework to the teacher? ¿Le da ella la tarea al profesor?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I give, you give, he gives, she gives, it gives, we give, they give
Auxiliar para negar = I do, You do, He does, She does, It does, We do, They do ... not give
Auxiliar para preguntar = Do I, Do you, Does he, Does she, Does it, Do we, Do they ... give?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco: ( Nota : en lo siguiente “it” refiere a un libro.)    Listen to the answers ( WMA )

(afirma) it to her. El se lo da a ella.
(afirma) it to her. Yo se lo doy a ella.
(afirma) it to her. Ellos se lo dan a ella.
(afirma) it to her. Ustedes se lo dan a ella.
(afirma) Juan it to her. Juan se lo da a ella.
(niega) Maria and I it to her. María y yo no se lo damos a ella.
(niega) it to her. No se lo damos a ella.
(niega) it to her. El no se lo da a ella.
(pregunta) it to her? ¿Se lo das a ella?
(pregunta) it to her? ¿Ellos se lo dan a ella?
(pregunta) Gabriela it to her? ¿Se lo da Gabriela a ella?

 

(5)     Listen to the sentences ( WMA )

Do you give the children a piece of candy? No, I give them vegetables and fruit.
¿Das a los niños un pedazo de caramelo? No, les doy verduras y frutas.
 
Why do you give them vegetables and fruit? I give them that because too much sugar gives them a stomach ache.
Por qué les das verduras y frutas? Se las doy porque demasiado azúcar les da dolor de estómago.
 
Do you ever give them candy? Yes, we give them candy but only after dinner.
Nunca les das caramelo? Sí, les damos caramelo pero solo después de la cena.
