yo - I arrive arrived will arrive
tú - you arrive arrived will arrive
él/ella/ello - he/she/it arrives arrived will arrive
nosotros - we arrive arrived will arrive
ustedes - you arrive arrived will arrive
ellos/ellas - they arrive arrived will arrive

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:     Listen to the examples ( WMA )

a. Afirma You arrived at school at 6:00. Llegaste a la escuela a las seis.
b. Niega You did not arrive at school at 6:00. No llegaste a la escuela a las seis.
c. Pregunta Did you arrive at school at 6:00? ¿Llegaste a la escuela a las seis?
d. Afirma She arrived early for the class. Ella llegó temprano para la clase.
e. Niega She did not arrive early for the class. Ella no llegó temprano para la clase.
f. Pregunta Did she arrive early for the class? ¿Llegó ella temprano para la clase?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... arrived
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... did not arrive
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... arrive?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:    Listen to the answers ( WMA )

(afirma) at the school. El llegó a la escuela.
(afirma) at the school. Yo llegué a la escuela.
(afirma) at the school. Ellos llegaron a la escuela.
(afirma) at the school. Ustedes llegaron a la escuela.
(afirma) Juan at the school. Juan llegó a la escuela.
(niega) Maria and I at the school. María y yo no llegamos a la escuela.
(niega) at the school. No llegamos a la escuela.
(niega) at the school. El no llegó a la escuela.
(pregunta) at the school? ¿Ellos llegaron a la escuela?
(pregunta) at the school? ¿Llegaste a la escuela?
(pregunta) Gabriela at the school? ¿Llegó Gabriela a la escuela?

 

(5)     Listen to the sentences ( WMA )

Did Ana arrive home from her trip? Yes, she arrived last night but Robert did not arrive with her.
¿Llegó Ana a casa de su viaje? Sí, ella llegó anoche pero Roberto no llegó con ella.
 
Really, what happened?
¿Verdad, que pasó?
 
Well, his flight arrived but he was not on it. He arrived to the airport late and missed the flight. So he did not arrive when he was supposed to arrive. Yes but he arrived this morning on another flight.
Bueno, su vuelo llegó pero él no estuvo en él. El llegó en el aeropuerto tarde y perdió el vuelo. Así que no llegó cuando se supuso que llegaba. Sí pero él llegó esta mañana en otro vuelo.
 
OK now everyone arrived home for the holidays.
OK, ahora todo el mundo llegó a casa para los días de fiesta.
