ustedes - you save saved will save
ellos/ellas - they save saved will save

 

(3) EJEMPLOS DE USO DEL VERBO DEL DIA:

a. Afirma You saved the file to the floppy disk. Guardaste el archivo al disco floppy.
b. Niega You did not save the file to the floppy disk. No guardaste el archivo al disco floppy.
c. Pregunta Did you save the file to the floppy disk? ¿Guardaste el archivo al disco floppy?
d. Afirma He saved his money very wisely. El ahorró su dinero prudentemente.
e. Niega He did not save his money very wisely. El no ahorró su dinero prudentemente.
f. Pregunta Did he save his money very wisely? ¿Ahorró él su dinero prudentemente?
Auxiliar para afirmar = no se requiere: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they ... saved
Auxiliar para negar = I did, You did, He did, She did, It did, We did, They did ... not save
Auxiliar para preguntar = Did I, Did you, Did he, Did she, Did it, Did we, Did they ... save?

 

(4) LA TAREA: llene los espacios en blanco:

(afirma) time by working smartly. El ahorró tiempo por trabajar con inteligencia.
(afirma) my money to go on vacation. Yo ahorré mi dinero para ir de vacaciones.
(afirma) a copy of every email. Ellos guardaron una copia de todos sus emailes.
(afirma) money when you use coupons. Ustedes ahorraron dinero cuando usen cupones.
(afirma) Juan his energy by walking slowly. Juan guardó su energía por andar despacio.
(niega) Maria and I our money. María y yo no ahorrábamos nuestro dinero.
(niega) our files on the hard drive. No guardamos nuestros archivos en el duro disco.
(niega) enough money for the future. El no ahorró suficiente dinero para el futuro.
(pregunta) money to buy a car? ¿Ahorró él dinero para comprar un carro?
(pregunta) all the documents in a safe place? ¿Guardaron ellos todos de los documentos en un lugar seguro?
(pregunta) Gabriela money for college? ¿Ahorró Gabriela dinero para la universidad?

Did José save his money to buy a ring for his fiance? Yes, he saved it for two years until he had enough.
¿Ahorró José su dinero para comprar un anillo para su novia? Sí, lo ahorró por dos años hasta que tuviera suficiente.
 
Did he save it in a bank? No, he did not save it in a bank rather he saved it in a credit union.
¿Lo ahorró en un banco? No, no lo ahorró en un banco sino lo ahorró en una unión de crédito.
 
How did he save so much money? He saved it by not buying his lunch.
¿Como ahorró tanto dinero? Lo ahorró por no comprar su almuerzo.
 
In that way he saved about $4.00 per day. In one year he saved over $1,200 by just doing that simple thing.
En esa manera ahorró más o menos $4.00 al día. En un año, ahorró él más de $1,200 solo por hacer esa cosa fácil.
