About Professor Sidwell

Dr. David Sidwell is director of the theatre education program at USU. In this position, he works with future teachers and also gets the chance to play a lot with kids of all ages. He is an arts-in-education activist and holds several leadership positions for various national theatre and oral history organizations. He is also a playwright, storyteller, and theatre director. Among his Utah State Theatre credits, David has directed Holiday Memories, Princesses and Peasants and War of the Worlds. His plays The Grasshopper and the Ant and Lullaby have also been seen on USU stages.
