  1. Review Pronunciation and characters learned from Lesson 12.
  2. Read notes on pages 126 and 127.
  3. Listen to Lesson 13 audio tape.
  4. Please click on “Writing” to learn how to write Lesson 13 characters and then practice writing.
  5. Please click “Grammar” to learn sentence structure.
  6. Please complete the substitution exercises on pages 128 to 130.
  7. Read out aloud on pages 130 to 133 and pages 136 to 139.
  8. Read the grammar notes on pages 133 to 136. Read pronunciation and stroke-order notes on pages 139 to 143.
  9. Please do the exercises on pages 30 to 33 from Practical Chinese Reader I: Patterns and Exercises, (PCR I: PE).
  10. Answer the questions in Chinese on page 33 of PCR I: PE and then submit this page.
  11. Read page 143 from PCR I for fun!
