Assignment 4: Elementary Chinese Supplementary Book
- Review pronunciation and characters learned from Lesson 3.
- Listen to Lesson 4 audio tape and practice texts and drills on pages 19 to 22.
- Please click on “Writing” to learn how to write Lesson 4 characters and then practice writing.
- Please click “Grammar” to learn sentence structure.
- Translate the English sentences on page 22 into Chinese sentences and translate the Chinese sentences on page 23 into English.
- Please complete the substitution drill on page 23: substitute the underlined words with the words listed on the right.
- Please practice the dialogue on page 23. You may find someone who can speak Chinese to practice the dialogue with you if you can find a friend who can do so.
- Read the numbers in Chinese (you may practice reading by watching the lecture section or writing section).
