- Review pronunciation and characters learned from Lesson 1.
- Listen to Lesson 2 audio tape and practice texts and drills on pages 9 and 10.
- Please click on “Writing” to learn how to write Lesson 2 characters and then practice writing.
- Please click “Grammar” to learn sentence structure.
- Translate the English sentences on page 11 into Chinese sentences and translate the Chinese sentences on page 11 into English.
- Please complete the substitution drill on page 11: substitute the underlined words with the words listed on the right.
- Please practice the dialogue on page 12. You may find someone who can speak Chinese to practice the dialogue with you if you can find a friend who can do so.
