The National Science Digital Library (nsdl.org) is a digital library of exemplary resources for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). It provides collections and services, organized in support of science education at all levels, with materials ranging from journal articles and lesson plans to interactive animations.
In this activity, imagine that you are preparing for a class where you will provide students with abundant and various online learning resources. Please follow the Steps below and after you complete this activity do a self-assessment reviewing the Checklist.
Steps
- Search for learning resources within the National Science Digital Library (click on Search Techniques and How to Search within the NSDL to learn more).
- Find high-quality resources including at least one interactive resource (click on Online Learning Resources to learn more).
