An instructional activity usually consists of several components, regardless of whether it is online or not. The following explains these components.
- Objectives: What will your students learn?
- Materials: What are the teaching instruments?
- Processes: How will you teach your students?
- Assessment: How will you assess your students' learning?
The following graphic shows what these four components would be like for an instructional activity about learning fractions.
