What is the "understanding spectrum" that Shedroff refers to, and what are the 3 types of knowledge? Is this similar to any other theoretical positions you're familiar with? Why does he bring these up here, in his discussion of Information Interaction Design?

Examples of complex organization
Shedroff has a couple interesting examples of how designers have created impact with different ways of organizing information. Discuss a couple of his examples, and try to think of one of your own. Has any particular organization of "something" made an emotional impact on you? What was it, and why?
