Reading

Lohr, L. L. (2000). Three principles of perception for instructional interface design. Educational Technology, 40(1), 45-52.

Discussion

Lohr lumps training and support environments into a category of "instructional" for interface considerations. In thinking about different kinds of distance learning environments and the interfaces you've experienced (or studied), do you agree with this? In what situations might it make sense to lump them together, and what situations would you see different needs arise?
