Search NSDL

You can perform a more focused search of the NSDL within the Instructional Architect, by restricting the format of the resource (e.g., text, image, video, etc.). After looking through the results and viewing resources, you can select desired resources and save them to a folder for further use.

In this activity, you will explore how to find resources in the NSDL using the Instructional Architect. You will also learn how to limit your search results. Moreover, you will learn how to manage the resources you have found. Then do a self-assessment by reviewing the Checklist.

Try to find at least two resources using the Instructional Architect, including one interactive resource or image format resource, and create a folder for organizing the resources you find.

Make sure that the two resources you find:

  1. Are tied to the core objective you have selected in section "Core Curriculum;"
  2. Align to the criteria of high-quality online resources mentioned in section "Online Resources."

Finally, share the resources you find with your group members by posting them (i.e. URLs) in your small group discussion board.
