In this activity, you will design an advanced project using the
Instructional Architect. In addition, you will discuss with group
members your experience with designing IA projects. Finally, you will
do a self-assessment by reviewing the Checklist below.
|
| |
|
Design an IA project by applying what you have learned in the last
several activities.
Make sure that the IA project you design:
- Uses at least three resources gathered from
at least two different methods (search NSDL, browse IA
projects, and/or add your own Web resources).
- Uses resources that are relevant, appropriate, reputable, and
motivating.
Now that you are familiar with the procedure of designing IA
projects using the Instructional Architect, think about the following
questions:
- When an online resource is found, what is the best way to integrate
it into the IA project so that your students learn more deeply?
- What are the differences and similarities between designing IA
projects and preparing face-to-face lectures, homework handouts, or
in-class lab activities?

motivating resources found from two different sources
(the NSDL, browsing other IA projects, the Web).
- You thought about the questions above.
