Create Account

Registration is free, simple and allows you to save your resources and projects for future modification.

In this section, you will learn how to create an IA account by registering as an IA user.

Steps

1. In your web browser, go to ia.usu.edu.
2. To create an account on the Instructional Architect, click on "I AM A TEACHER" link on the frontpage of the Instructional Architect website.
3. Click on the "REGISTER" button.
4. Fill out the form "ACCOUNT INFO" (following the instructions on the left side of the page).
   • The name you enter in the text box "how your name appears to students" determines the screen name of your project.
   • Please choose "online workshop" for "How did you hear about IA."
5. Click "SAVE INFO" when you have completed the form (you will be automatically logged in to the IA). Note: For future log-ins, from ia.usu.edu, click on "I AM A TEACHER" and fill in your email as the account and your password.
6. To change your account information, simply log in and click 'my profile' in the menu. Remember to click 'save info' to save any changes.
