Negative Effects of Anger

You may have heard someone say, "You should never spank your children when you are angry." The reason behind that is that you may do some damage (physically and emotionally) that you had not intended. However, most people would have no desire to spank their children if they were not angry. They would deal with the problem in a more constructive, compassionate, and inventive way. If you deal with your partner angrily you too may do some damage that you had not intended. Be calm as you go about resolving conflicts.
