Voice

The human voice an important element in the field of acoustics. The most important aspect of the voice is speech. Along with speech is singing. This module has three lessons. The first lesson introduces speech production, including the function of the vocal organs, speech articulation, and modeling of the vocal tract. The second lesson discusses methods of recognizing, analyzing, and synthesizing speech signal. The final lesson shows how the voice used for singing is the same as and different from the voice used for speaking.
