ABOUT RICHLEY CRAPO
[ Homepage : : Vita ]Richley Crapo received his Ph.D. in anthropology in 1970 at the University of Utah. His doctoral dissertation was a study of the roles of the English and Shoshoni languages among the Duckwater Shoshoni Indians of eastern Nevada.
He has published books on the Shoshoni language of Nevada, the Quechua language of Bolivia, and on cross-cultural research in human psychology. He is also the author of the text you will use in this course. Prof. Crapo enjoys gold prospecting as a hobby.
